The Associated Press reports Detroit Lions QB Jeff Garcia (leg, ankle) vowed to return sometime during the 2005 season. Actually, Garcia is confident he'll return soon. "It is frustrating and disappointing, but I will be back," he said. "I'm going to be positive and try to get myself healthy so I can help this team."

Dan Orlovsky will be starting by week 6 anyhow. herrington and garcia = feely and ferotte. Detroit unlike Miami had enough foresight to plan for herrington's eventual flop and pick a mid round qb that has showed alot of promise so far.
