Eh I don't think JT did the most he could to stick around Miami. If anything, both him and the Phins FO had a mutual understanding of getting him the heck outta town.

(you know if a Miami QB did it they'd have all been caught)
JT wasn't exactly forcng ELI to force those throws..., but Rogers missed like two... one a likely runback for 6...

Far be it for me to be the one to defend JT because I have never been more then luke warm on him even when was a fin but................. He was a gametime decision and not fully healthy tonight. He looked like typical JT out there. He never has big games until they are basically meaningless. Thats his M.O. nothing unussaull about it but tonight he gets a pass from me due to his knee.

It was a good move to trade Taylor and get value for him NOW not because of one game that he plays with a knee injury and fails to show up, but because over the course of the next season or two his play is likely to decline greatly anyway......

People always run at Jason Taylor, he can't stop the run. But there's no doubt the Giants did a good job containing JT tonight. However since this only one game, and even though the Redskins looked pathetic, lets wait more than a single game.....

The thing is JT starts off slow every single year.

Look at his stats...
And not only that, look at his impact on the games towards the end of the season...
I remember the last couple seasons there was always threads that would show up saying JT is finally showing his age...Then next game he has a couple sacks and a forced fumble...
Not to mention he is coming off an injury...
JT will be just fine...

Now lets hate on Jason Taylor lol. Yea after one game we determine he is washed up and cannot play anymore. I have no problem with trading Taylor but I would not pile on him and his decisions until we see what we have. He was somewhat banged up, amazing how people will defend Joey"Dogfigther" Porter for coming back from injury but Jason Taylor of course its his fault because he went on dancing with the stars.

I actually thaught JT played well consitering the redskins suck, and lost a very good d-coach.

Of all the redskins players, i think JT was the best. He always seemed to be around the ball, either near the QB, or near the RB. He cant help the fact that the redskins suck.

London Fletcher had a better game IMO
