I am not sold on Ryan at all. I trust in The Big Tuna's decision to go with Henne. I watched Henne his whole career and the guy can totally play. So its a wait and see approach from me.

Im not basing my opinion of Ryan on anything that has happened in the preseason really. Just sit back and watch over the next few years as Ryan developes into one of the best few QBs in the league.

I still think Ryan was the best Qb in the draft but I always said Jake Long was the best overall player.I would have seriously been irked if we had chosen Chris Long over Ryan but Jake was a no brainer. I think Henne will be a good qb though and if we had taken Ryan we would have not been able to get a franchise like tackle. Atlanta was smart and moved up and took Sam Baker whom I think we will be much better than some on this board think.

lol...maybe in the NFL because he's been in it longer but his college career doesn't even compare to Ryan's...

There was absolutely no need for the Dolphins to target Ryan. Beck has the postion locked up and on the off chance he should not work out we took Henne as our insurance policy. Why would we want to force Ryan to have to ride the pines behind future hall of famer John Beck! O.P. Please try to create realistic threads that are less absurd.

Dude go somewhere else. You're team has never been or will ever be competitive in this league. He may turn out to be a great QB, but until he plays well in a REAL game with REAL defenses you can say he's a beast. Nobody even gameplans in the preseason.

BTW, I bet you(WV) havent even seen a falcons preseason game this year and is basing that "ICE' is a helluva demon qb(lol in 3 preseason games and he hasnt even played a full game)!! and is going to be the best qb out of this years qb draft class, based on what some box score stats you read or some highlights in nfl.com, lolol.

Don't go there, the Falcons won't be going 1-15 for those many consecutive seasons, they'll win they fair share of 3-5 games per season with Matt at QB for the whole season. Near but not exact, from your part, great effort though.

I knew stats would be thrown out so I checked them to be sure...Funny how you didn't throw the qb rating out there?

Ryan-75.1

Henne-70.3

Penny-104.8 but had 1/3 the attempts Ryan and Henne had and he isn't a rookie...

by the way where did you get your stats? Henne had 351 yards and Ryan had 294 and 2 td's but we played 3 games with 3 different qb's so Ryan didn't get as much time to play as Henne and still had close to the same stats. Didn't matter tho because he had a better rating which is what rates the better quarterback....

....we won't do good this year but I expect us to be somewhere around you all....5-6 wins...
