Keenan Mccardell in talks with RedskinsHe's been in the league so long that a lot of people forget that wide receiver Keenan McCardell actually began his career, in 1991, with the Redskins. He never got on the field during his first stint in Washington, D.C., but he might get to finish his career there. According to Len Pasquarelli of ESPN.com, McCardell is in "active negotiations" with the Redskins. The move makes sense if for no other reason than that the 37-year-old McCardell is one of the few well-known free agents still available, and the Redskins always like to add veterans with name value. McCardell lives in Houston, and the Texans are reportedly interested in his services, so he may have options just a few months after his release by the San Diego Chargers raised the question of whether his career was over. McCardell is ninth in NFL history with 861 catches, 18th all-time with 11,117 receiving yards, and tied for 50th with 62 receiving touchdowns.

It wouldn't hurt them to have the veteran depth.

yeah i know ^ , i am just saying they have a lot of recievers........ santa, antwaan, brandon, mccardell(if he signs),thrash and you have to count cooley as a big target too so it will be kind of hard to get everyone the ball.

apparently he shot down their first offer of the vet min. they dont need another 'speed' wr, they need a big guy to throw to in the endzone, they dont have that. lloyd and thrash suck, lloyd didnt even score at all last year.

They still have Randle El, Lloyd, Moss, and Cooley. They don't need any more WRs. But leave it to them to **** their offseason up. Good ol Foreskins

He better take that Texans offer while he has the chance. He has a better chance at starting and being more involved in the offense there then he would be with the Skins. Since the Texans really don't have anybody good at WR other then Johnson.

I kinda hope he goes there to. Or he should go back to Jax, teach all those WRs they have to catch the ball.
