Lamont JordanPeople act like he is so great but alotta times backup RBs get good stats because they arent expected to run. he is 27 y/o and will be in Oakland.
Norv Turner ran ricky nearly 400 times, if he runs Jordan that much, he might be dead by seasons end.

Lamont Jordan is a good NFL RB who was stuck behind a HOFer that hardly gets hurt or needs plays off. Tough to show your stuff..

Depends on the RB, but I think Jordan will do alright. He got paid to much money though and he won't be the RB everyone is making him out to be.

Barry Sanders? College isn't the same and we all know it. I for one, am glad to see Lamont Jordan is gone. He was good. Powerful and quick. I personally don't think Curtis martin has a whole lot in him. He led the NFL in rushing, but he didn't have 1 rushing attempt over 25 yards. Thats telling me he just had a great line last year. And all things are subject to change in the NFL. |

every player eventually gets the chance to start and prove what they're worth. no other backup RB in the league deserves a starting role more than jordan

I think he will turn out to be a good starter in Oakland. He could have been a starter on a lot of teams last year, but its hard when you are playing behind the leagues leading rusher.

Well, if Lamont Jorden doesn't work. I'll wish for Saban's phone to ring with a paranoid Al Davis and two high draft picks on the other end.

I think Jordan will at least get a 1,000-1200 yards. He will have an advantage in that every team that he faces will not be able to put 8 in the box b/c they will be so worried about the pass. He walked into the perfect situation

Please dont remind me. I really think that Jordan will be a really good starting RB for the Raiders. I dont know about him having the whole load because he isnt used to that and it will prob hurt him. For the first couple of games he should split carries, then work his way up from there. |

To be fair those were mostly yards gained in garbage time, the game was well in hand as he was putting those #s up.
