when was the last game between nfl and collage football all stars?

i dont know if anyone remembers when the nfl would play the college allstars, i think i remember the bears playing. anyone remember this, or when it stopped?

I think they discontinued it in the mid to late 70's. It couldn't have been the Bears though because it was the Super Bowl Champion from the previous season that played the college all-stars, and the game was discontinued well before the Bears won in 85.

When the first College All-Stars team played the Chicgo Bears to a scoreless tie in 1934, it was actually a major coup for professional football, which was viewed as inferior to college clubs at that juncture. Known as the Chicago College All-Star Game, it was played annually in the Pre-season until 1976. Such a concept would be utter anathema by NFL owners today.
