Laughing at the Bengals

from http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news/ap/...gals-math.html

Quote:
The Cincinnati Bengals lost again because they couldn't get the right number of players on the field for a punt.

``We couldn't have another season like this, even if we tried,'' linebacker Brian Simmons said. ``I think it's impossible to experience this again.''
do not make Simmons the counter because he is not that smart - he's been in Cincy for his whole career. And they constantly are as horrific as a Phin road playoff game

Quote:
Five times in the last 12 years, the Bengals have lost 13 games -- an incredible feat in an era when parity makes just about every team competitive.

You have to give the Bengal fans a lot of credit. The Bengals just may be the worse run sports franchise, and yet they still buy tickets. They are some of the most die-hard fans...

2nd only to Browns fans...

The original Browns moved to Balt, changed the name (because the fans forced them to) and the fans were still buying tickets, even before the Browns came back! The "Dog-Pound" was sold out every sunday... even though there was no game played....

It is sad when an owner can just decide to pick up and move a franchise to a larger market when a lease is up. It really screws the fans and the taxpayers whose money almost always goes into "stadium improvements" that the NFL deems neccessary. When the Bills current owner Ralph Wilson passes, it is going to put the Bills future in the Buffalo area into jeopardy. Buffalo really is a small market.

Although if I owned a ball club, I would want to be able to do whatever I wanted to it. I guess I am a hypocrit.
