LeCharles Bently cleared to practice

So many had thought it was a career ending injury. He passed a physical today and is cleared to practice:

Mary Kay Cabot, of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, reports Cleveland Browns C LeCharles Bentley (knee) passed a physical Monday, July 23, in New York and has been cleared by his surgeon to resume football. "I'm excited," Bentley said. "It's the next step toward getting back on the field."

Good for him. I really hoped that we could have brought him here last season. I was a fan. So I felt bad for him to go down before the season like he did. They had talked about his career being over. I hope he gets back to his great form. Him and Thomas will really anchor that line.

If he comes back this year, I really don't see him being successful until next year. I just can't imagine him coming back after a year and being dominant. However, if he comes back to form next year, that Cleveland line could be pretty darned good with Thomas, Steinbach, and Bentley.

I heard from my friend(avid Brownie fan), that it was the 1st of 3 physicals he needs to pass in order to play though.

I agree my NW buddy.

I remember just feeling sick for the guy last year watching him being taken off on a cart on the FIRST DAY OF CAMP! He needs to make sure he doesn't rush back and mess anything else up.
