The Eagles "remain locked in trade talks" involving CB Lito Sheppard, according to the Philadelphia Daily News.

The Birds have reportedly fielded several offers already, involving both draft picks and players. However, a league source told the Daily News to "forget the idea" of the Cardinals giving up Larry Fitzgerald in a Sheppard trade.

I doubt it. Andy Reid is a tough guy to trade with. He always asks top dollar and refuses to take less. Look how he got Speilman to give a 2nd for Feeley. If they can't land a wr for Sheppard, look for them to get at least a 1st rd pick.

No. Andy Reid has final say over all roster moves. He's the one that demanded a 2nd rd pick for Feeley. Heckert just ironed the deal out. This should sound familiar because the Dolphins have often given their coaches final say.
