I think Joseph should have won it too. But I guess I can understand that they gave it to Manning for sentimental reasons.

I found it hard to believe that he won it, I was shocked really. I thought Rhodes should have gotten it... everytime he touched the ball tonight he had huge gains. and the TD. But Addai too... Running and receiving..

Rhodes.. 21 carries, 131 yards, 1 TD, 1 rec, 8 yards.
Addai... 19 carries, 77 yards, 0 TD, 10 rec, 66 yards.
Manning... 25/38, 247 yards, 1 td, 1 int, last name manning, first name peyton.

Tough call. but Not so hard really once you see the last guy there is Peyton Manning, as someone else said, posterboy for the league. Guess the NFL needed an excuse to have manning up on that stage to get the trophy from dungy. Oh well.

His QB rating was dragged down by the one interception, but it was in the 80s. I think he played a better game than that stat indicated.

I think the MVP should have been shared by Addai/Rhodes, but I knew it probably wouldn't happen. Peyton would have been my third choice.

While I also believed the running backs should have gotten the award, some of you are making this sound like Peyton Manning had an absolutely rotten game and won the award. Is it so horrible that he won?

He did have a solid game, he was the driving force behind their second touchdown drive, led them to the first td drive which calmed their nerves a bit, and made smart decisions after a rocky start. He had a great game.

Who determines SB MVP? Is it the comissioner or any person with spare time and a computer?

Addai & Rhodes = 264 total yards. Those guys CONTROLLED the game.

Bob Sanders also caused two HUGE turnovers tonight.

Manning did not play all that great. Bears dropped 2 gimme INT's (Tillman & a DL)

One of them on the same drive Peyton threw an actual INT. Last I checked you can't throw two INTs on the same drive.

Manning didn't play all that great...yea ok. Wonder how Indy would have ran in for the go ahead touchdown if Peyton hadn't called such good plays and completed those passes over the middle.

some of you are just looking at the numbers obviously.
