Rams | Faulk to be placed on IR

Bernie Miklasz, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports the St. Louis Rams will be placing RB Marshall Faulk (knee) on the Injured Reserve, likely the end of Faulk's career.

I guess there goes his career.

he'd already thinking about retiring and this should cause him to direct towards it.

Thats too bad. I thought he would be a good change of pace back for Jackson. But good news to me, I drafted Jackson in my fantasy draft

nah, I think he has alot left to offer. Not a #1 back, but a back that can come in on 3rd down and in pass catching situations

If this is true, he should retire. Coming back from an injury and a full season off at this point in his career is almost impossible.

I agree. Marshal may have been the best there ever was at coming out of the backfield and making a catch. He was huge in helping Kurt Warner win that MVP award, and making the Rams champions. I wouldn't mind having him as a backup on any team I was coaching. But this injury does pretty much mean the end of him. Great career though Marshal! What a joy he was to watch!
