How does this guy keep his job? I rarely ever feel bad for another teams fans but I will make an exception for Lions fans out there. I feel for ya!

Hey lets give him another top 5 pick, some more free agent money and see how he does......how do the owners of the Lions keep saying this to themselves year after year? Man Im a huge fan of loyalty, I respected the owners for a few years into the Millen debacle, but now its just unquestionably a terrible football move to give Millen more time. I mean I could put together a decent team if someone gave me 5 years to lose and I lucked into a good draft or some decent freeagents. The bottom line is that the Lions are the worst team in football over Millens tenure and are showing no signs of hope.
Seriously does this guy have comprimising photos of the owners?

Ive heard this on alot of detroit talk radio programs in the last few weeks. Its absolutely ridiculous that they fire their DC today, and Millen still has a job. the D was their only bright spot this year. not that it was special. but they were tough. if you noticed any improvement in the lions at all this year it was their defense. ernie sims, aka mr. concussion looked really good in there from what i saw of him this year

His "I'll never quit" comments are interesting. It gives you the idea that he knows he's on thin ice, and all he has is this "I'm a long haul kinda guy, yeah that's what I am" attitude.

I believe anytime you realise you are at the mercy of your boss, your performance drops. It is our performance that should guage our value.
