Maurice Williams-T-re-signedJaguars re-signed G/T Maurice Williams. Terms are not disclosed.
Surprising move after Williams took a paycut last year to be a free agent. Perhaps the market wasn't there for the versatile veteran, or perhaps Jacksonville just paid him handsomely. He should start at right guard, but can kick outside if necessary. The offensive line contiuity in Jacksonville is enviable. Found on rotoworld.

I may get flamed but Im starting to get VERY concerned about our lack of intrest in signing players at positions we need.
Im not saying M. Williams shoulda been signed, Im just saying we need T's and ecspecially some G's and some CB's and I see no attempt to grab one. Im sure the regime has a grand plan but Im gettitng more confused by the day.

Not to worry...the draft is deep on OT's this year.....I'm pretty sure we'll take 1 with either our top pick or more likely at 32....also,the guards always seem to drop so don't be surprised if we take a guard at 57....if we do trade JT for a 2nd then we'll have more picks to work with....also think about us moving down to 3rd so the falcons can take Ryan then we'd get their 2nd round pick so we'd be drafting 32 plus 34....can't wait for the draft.

way too early to be concerned. i am so glad we passed on the big namers. i see us having a huge draft this year. at the start of training camp you can restate that post if you feel the same way, but i have a feeling that we will be over loaded with nobodies that parcells will turn into football players.

Another lineman would have been nice. Think we payed too much attention to Pace.

Maurice Williams was a backup last year. i thought about us signing him, but after finding out he rode the bench an isn't what he use to be I was happy we passed. We will probably draft a G and T. We have shown interest on Fabini. Olivea, Womack, Hadnot and Scott are still unsigned.
