that trade don't make no sense for either team. for oakland, who would vick throw to? for atlanta, they would want the #1 pick for calvin johnson, why would they take moss and porter? that trade will never happen.

all that for vick.i dont think he deserves that much especially with the year he just had.if i were oakland i would pull randy from that offer and i think atlanta would take it.

Vick sucks, he has one good passing game a year then thinks that is enough for a season. I heard that when all their RBs were injured they thought about moving him to RB and start Schaub.

That would be a hell of a trade. If true it proves that Al Davis is senile.

Norwood is good but is he great? I dont think so, if you take Peterson you're getting almost a sure thing at RB (or as close to a sure thing as there is at RB) with the potential to be a top 4 guy in the league. I dont think they will take Russell, Thomas makes a lot of sense if not Peterson. The thing about trading down this year is that there is a lot of talent to be had between rounds two and four, so if you can pick up extra picks and still stay in the top 5 IMO you have to trade down (unless you absolutely need Quinn or Russell)

If they wanted it for Calvin Johnson it would be because they were lacking at the WR position. If they were to get Moss and Porter obviously the pick wouldnt be for Johnson anymore.

Vick to Raiders?Raiders | Team interested in Vick?
Mon, 22 Jan 2007 14:35:58 -0800 FOXSports.com reports the Oakland Raiders are preparing to make a run at Atlanta Falcons QB Michael Vick, according to NFL sources. The Raiders would possibly package WR Randy Moss, WR Jerry Porter and the No. 1 overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft in exchange for Vick and the Falcons' first round pick, which is No. 10 overall. Ok I know I might get canned for this, but this would help Quinn fall to 9.....This would change the Draft completely.... |

Why in the world would any team give up that much for the most over rated player in the history of the NFL? I can see Al Davis (as dumb as he's become) trading the 1st overall pick for Vick and the Falcons # 10 pick. Why would they throw in Moss and Porter. Who is Vick going to throw the ball to? That was the excuse Vick's apologists in Atlanta used, to explain Vick's inconsistency. |

The Raiders should rob the Falcons if they're going to give up the overall#1 pick! The way the Chargers did to the Giants for Eli Manning. San Diego made out big time with that deal. Vick's career isn't going to get any better so the Raiders need to ask for a lot more than Vick and swapping draft spots in my opinion!
