Merged: Chargers New Uniforms

SNEAK PEEK AT CHARGERS UNIS?
Several readers have informed us that, through an apparent glitch on the Chargers.com web site, an image of the team's new, slightly-modified home jersey was displayed on Thursday.
The shirt isn't much different than the prior model. The two most noticeable changes are the shifting of the sleeve numbers to the tops of the shoulders, and the addition of a white background panel behind the lightning bolts over each arm.

The team logo also has been tweak a bit. Here's the new one:

The best news? We'll all get to continue to hear Chris Berman pining for the powder blues.

I think they look pretty good. I still wish they would go to the powder blues full time, those are sweet. The helmets especially.

man i wish i could see the change thats happening to our jerseys this year...I really want a roth jersey, but would like to see exactly how drastic the change will be...

With all the changes going out there,will any of this matter?I guess w'ell see if the uniform change=Superbowl or playoffs for real.

Yeah, me too. When SD wears the powder blues with the numbered helmets, they are definitely the best looking uniforms in the league.

The other day I started a thread about our new jersey's and wondered about the release date of them and about how significant the changes would be because i really want to buy a Roth Jersey...So i went to miami dolphins pro shop, clicked on home replicas...and noticed that the shadow on the Roth and Crowder Jersey's had been changed...Its pretty insignifcant and I didnt get many responses, but some people may be interested in taking a look....Someone posted an attachment of the Roth Jersey next to the Jason Taylor one and there definately is some difference...

I don't think that is anything though. It just looks that way because it's drawn. I have seen jerseys on the proshop for years that have looked like that. Some of them look regular and some look like they have different numbers.
