For Those interested in Dixon

David dixon who went undrafteed in the supp draft is expected to sign with the 49ers. Others teams who have expressed interest are the Titans and Jets. Heres the link all the supp players are right on top of the page. http://www.kffl.com/hotw/nfl. I'm still seeing whether or not we will attempt to get either him or Berryman. We can sure use another young LB body in camp to try to crack the roster or stash on the PS.

Depth, bro. They didnt have to use a pick on him, and im sure as a UDFA he wont be making much, so its a no-lose situation for the niners.

If Dixon establishes himself at all, with his athletic ability, the 49ers will have a pretty frightening LB core between the 2 freaks Dixon and Lawson..

Prior to his workouts, Dixon was running 4.4s with a vertical leap in the 40s, etc. If he can regain that form, you will see what Im talking about..

HysterikiLL is an unknown quantity at this point
Eeeeh Berryman isn't much. Dixon isn't much either. I'd rather get a veteran who is still a free agent and has experience.

Ahhhh could it be that he was REPORTEDLY running 4.4's? Maybe he was 6-3 before the workouts as reported and shrunk also. I just think he was hype and not much else as evidenced that no one picked him. But I have never seen him play so I cannot say he is a "freak" or not a "freak"...but the numbers should not intimidate anyone and his lack of experience at ANY level can certainly be exploited. To put in the same sentance as a prospect as Manny Lawson is unfair to Lawson.....
