Although some may not agree, I'd have to say Adrian Wilson with Ed Reed and Polamalu not far behind.

He signed a 7 year deal last season for $40mil with $15mil signing bonus. Until today he was the highest paid safety in the league.

I think Brian Dawkins is the best safety in the NFL. Hard hitter, plays center field well, and is a leader both on and off the field.

I think that deal was for 6 years, not 7.
