From the AFC: Houston Texans, New York Jets, Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, Cleveland Browns

From the NFC: Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants

All these teams need a running back, and I think all these teams SHOULD be interested. Michael Turner is the real deal IMO, though I thought the same thing about Lamont Jordan. Jordan hasn't been anything special since he left the Jets, at the same time, the Oakland Raiders offensive line is trash,

Why would Vikings get him? Dont they have a back of the name of Chester Taylor? I think he goes to the Colts. Addai and Turner. Good combo right there. Cards are another option.

James is old, wore out. He should have stayed with Indy. Another option is Cleveland.

I have been watching Turner for the last couple of years here in San Diego, and he will be a big boost to any team he goes to. Very good back, and does really well at giving LT breathers, and still moves the pile.

Isnt Ricky coming back? The joke of a RB that we spent 2 1st picks for him to play 2-3 seasons.

I have a lot more than durability questions. The fact that Sammy Morris outperforms him makes me worry a bit.

They are indeed VERY interested in Michael Turner.

There are 2 things you have to consider regarding Michael Turner, first of all, without a doubt the guy is TALENTED - dude reminds me of a bowling ball bouncing off of defenders when he runs. PLUS - dude is one hell of a kick-off returner. Some people say he's slow - I disagree, he has breakway speed plus the power.

That being said-

Is he a legitimate #1 RB? In other words, can he shoulder 30-40 carries a game? Is his number inflated? LT gives the defensive line and LB body shots all day long and here comes Michael Turner out of the backfield.

I'll be first to admit - our line this year has looked marvellous --our new oline coach has these guys playing better than Hudson had....so take into consideration the line he'll be playing behind.

We had a RB similar to Michael TUrner a couple years back named Jesse Chatman --- almost carried 5-6 yards per touch -- I have no idea where he is now....or look at Lamont behind the raiders line...

Michael Turner is VERY VERY VERY talented....lots of question marks though...but if someone is willing to give a first round (rumor from New York) -- then so be it.

I loved Jesse Chatman. In fact, we traded for him...I can't recall what we gave, but he only played 1 or 2 games as a Fin and was chopped.

Turn is a stud. He was awesome in college and his style has kind of changed now, but he's still dominant. Still, can't help but remind me a little of LaMont Jordan -- a stud powerback behind a great line and RB, and then goes off elsewhere and kind of simmers.

Similar to Maurice Jones-Drew. He's all the rage here in Jags country. I love watching that guy play. I don't get to see Turner nearly as much, but they seem like similar backs.
