money an issue in Oakland

the raiders have been very active in fa thus far and have spent a considerable amount to compleate moves such as
-franchise Asomugha=9 mil in 2008
-sign D. Hall=70 over 7
-resign fargas-12 mil with 6 gaurenteed over 3
-resign d kelly-55.5 over 7
-sign gabril wilson-40 over 6
also while signing william joseph, javon walker, dru carter, kwame harris and cornell green.
the raiders currently are picking 4th in the draft adn have to prepare to shell out a huge sum.
i strongly feel that out of their extreamly talented starting secondary michel huff, gabril wilson, asomugha, and hall, and talented backups stanford routt, and fabian washington, someone is going to expendable due to the lack of cap room, something that is nice is that they are all young and have nice upside
now i am not one for trading pick, especialy for a rebuilding team like we are but mabey a third for a player like huff and mabey a 4th/5th for guys like routt and washington.
i would love huff and strongly feel that we can get it done and that he is a much better value that any s that would be available at the 2b or 3 picks. and the way i look at it as many be one of the sole teams with the money left to pull it off.
if we can trade a 3 for him i feel that we can still fill our needs.
jake long
dan conner/kenny phillups/brandon albert
chilo rachal/lawernce jackson
thats a lt, mlb, og and a starting saftey

hey thanks for ur time and give me ur thoughts

For starters, why would they give Huff away for a third? He was the 7th overall pick (1-7) in 2006?

Huff isnt a great fit for what oakland want though. im not saying theyll take a 3rd for him but i think theyd prefer a hard hitter. huff has been playing ss and hes more suited to fs really.

I would LOVE to see Huff play in Miami...and he has no problem laying the wood.

It would cost us plenty to get him, and I have'nt seen any segments of him actually being on the market.

BTW: Are you typing all this from jail RonMexico?

Well, the going rate for 7th overall picks seems to be less than that, so maybe we'd be giving Oakland too much.

I would LOVE Huff to be a Fin. I'm a HUGE Longhorns fan and always watched him when he was a Horn. But yes he is more of a FS than a SS, because he's more of an athletic S than a hard hitter.

I would love to see him in a dolphins uniform too - he's not being used to anywhere near his potential with the raiders! he could be an absolute ballhawk.
