Mueller Joins BoltsJust saw that Randy, good ole Randy just joined AJ's staff after Buddy Nix retired.

Muller was an incredible GM IMO and was hated upon by this fan base for no apparent reason, yes I said no apparent reason if any doubters had any football IQ whatsoever they wouldn't argue this point to much. He was way more hit than miss. He will be a great asset to the Chargers and I wish him the best.

I hope Mueller succeeds. This may sound bizarre, but the Super Bowl result calmed my perspective of him. If New England had gone 19-0 I'd blame Mueller forever, via the Welker situation, but at 18-1 all is forgiven.
![]() Besides, he seems like a genuinely good guy, with a threat of normalcy, and among Wannstedt, Saban and Cameron we haven't featured too much normalcy lately. In general I like Mueller's personnel priorities, based on everything he says in interviews, but the application isn't always astute. He certainly didn't emphasize the trenches enough last season, although finding an athletic center will pay dividends for a decade. |

Ahh the fall of the Chargers! Haha just kidding. I think Mueller was a pretty good GM that got stuck in a horrible situation. He should do pretty well out there in San Diego.

He's got an eye for spotting talent in the later rounds i'll give him that but overall as a GM i don't see what he did for the Saints to make them any good. Plus the whole thing about him and Zach Thomas being at odds makes me think different about him.

Let's try and trade Ricky Williams for L.T. now that Randy's there.
