New force out rule?

if i'm not mistaken, they changed the force out rule so that the WR needs 2 feet down like a normal catch. They pretty much made the force out no more right?

From what I gather, even if it is blatantly obvious that the receiver would have come down in bounds with both feet, if he is pushed out by the defender, it is not a catch.

There is no longer a force out in the NFL. I guess their reasoning was that it was too open for interpretation.

It is going to change how a lot of offenses play in the end zone.

There is still a force out.....kinda. They have taken the judgement call out of the officials hands kinda. Which I like. The defender cant like carry the guy off the field. But, if the receiver is hit or pushed he must still come down with 2 feet. Good rule.
