Isn't that the American way? Why should the NFL be any different than our society as a whole...

Just playing devil's advocate, calm down.

When his mother's house was served with a search warrant by a drug task force, he admitted to police that he had been smoking weed and that it would be several weeks before he could pass a drug test. And for what it's worth, he is on trial next month on one felony and two misdemeanor obstruction charges.

When someone is arrested and facing charges, at a minimum he needs to stay out of trouble until the initial incident has cleared. Instead, Pacman and Henry keeps stacking them up like cordwood. Good that the league has broken them off.
Not only that...he was arrested for I believe fighting a police officer back in February 2006 and failed to report his arrest to the team until recently in '07. Players are obligated by the league to report their arrests to the team.

Agreed. Ricky got suspended for a year for smoking a spliff every now and then, this guy got the same suspension for numerous, more violent altercations, including one that led to the paralysis of another person.

No kidding, did you hear Henry when he talked. He spoke with a 3rd graders vocabulary and sounded like he didnt care what would have happened at all...When asked what he thought about the fans negative reactions about Henry to what he did Henry responded by saying, well I guess they arent real fans...What a loser, those "unreal" fans pay his paycheck...He didnt get a long enough suspension if you ask me...

Pacman sounded more remorseful than Henry did...

so how does a player like randy have nothing happen but someone like pacman gets a yr suspension? didnt he beat his wife twice? is there a moral clause in the contract..b/c if so shouldnt anyone who does something 'immoral' be suspended? i dont condone what pacman did, but he hasnt been convicted...so i really dont agree with the suspension...what happens if he is not charged with anything? should he still be suspended the whole yr? and what about tank johnson? what about any of the bengals? why arent they suspended(minus henry)...do we not wait for due process? what about ray lewis who was apart of two murders?
