this has nothing to do with miami but...pacman jones has been suspended for the whole year and chris henry has eight games. that is too bad because pacman has a lot of talent but oh well at least it wasnt a miami player

Good stand by the NFL im sick of these thug players. Not good role models at all. They should be happy and feel priveliged playing in the NFL not tarnishing it.

update: according to NFL Network, NFLPA head Gene Upshaw released a statement of support for the suspensions and for the league's just released policy on player conduct.
i thought for certain there would be a court battle between the union and the league over this, but apparently not. on the air, Marshall Faulk seems a bit agitated by this, but Eisen says from what he can tell the union and the league hammered this thing out before announcing it, and that the players pressured the union into coming to terms because they are sick of the thugs tarnishing their image and the leagues..

I hope not. He served his time and has passed his tests. I don't think this matters much in Ricky's case.

I can't say that it matters to me what happens to Pacman. But does anyone realize he has never been convicted of a single crime. He's basically being suspended for being a PR liability.
