Ogden Leaning Toward Retirement?Ogden leans toward retiring
Posted: Friday March 14, 2008 08:09AM ET Reiterating that he is leaning toward not coming back, Jonathan Ogden said the Ravens "know to proceed with their offseason plans as if I'm retiring." Ogden, an 11-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle, has contemplated retirement since last offseason because of a hyperextended big toe. He didn't play in the Pro Bowl this year because of the injury. The Ravens likely need a decision from Ogden before the NFL draft at the end of April. si.com I was thinking if JO leaves the Ravens this year and retires, could we persuade them to trade up with us so we could acquire more picks. They could select Jake Long or Chris Long considering Suggs could be gone after this year. I know they have Jared Gaither from the Supplemental Draft but he could be moved to another spot on the line, possibly Guard? Your thoughts?
