P. Ramsey??ESPNEWS just stated that the Redskins have granted Ramsey permission to seek a trade, and specifically listed Miami and NY as suiters who have expressed interest, i know we tried to trade a 1st for him before but were refused, would we still trade a 1st for him? 2nd or are we set on Brees as our primary goal??

No way do we trade a 1st or 2nd for him. Our main goal should be Brees with Culpepper the backup choice. If we can't get one of those two, then maybe we should look at Ramsey.
However, I think the Redskins will end up releasing him. |

No. I wanted him bad but he has proven that we missed out on nothing by not having him. I would consider him about as solid a backup as you can get, nothing else

he's worth no more than a 4th rounder IMO, nothing more at this point.

Kffl reports that the Jets are working on a trade for Ramsey, looks like he might not be an option for the Dolphins.

I really don't want to give up anything for Ramsey even though I like him. Saban is to good with draft picks maybe if we gave up our 3rd and got him and a 5th rounder I would think about it.

We don't know that Saban has ruled any QB out...the talk around now is that we are a lock for Brees, but that doesn't mean with a new CBA that other teams couldn't join in the bidding...if so, Saban may just move on.... |

Culter is who I REALLY WANT the Dolphins to get.
However, between Brees and Ramsey, I definintely prefer Brees.

Jets | Team still trying to trade for Ramsey Sun, 26 Feb 2006 06:56:59 -0800 The New York Daily News reports the New York Jets are still working on a trade with the Washington Redskins for QB Patrick Ramsey. May not be an option anyway, but I say Brees before Ramsey.

I think we all should hope and pray Ramsey goes to the Jets because that would help our chances at getting Cutler, because I believe that if the Jets don't get a qb in FA, then they will pick one of the three big qbs that will fall to them in the draft. As for Ramsey why would anyone want him I mean he got benched for Brunell (yeah I know an injury early in the season gave Brunell the starting position, but Ramsey never got it back, you think if Manning went out and Sorgi came in that Manning wouldn't get the starting position back) Ramsey shouldn't even be looked at.
