4 games is a possibility, IMO.

I don't know if that makes him either safe or sorry. It all seems self serving but if the commisioner finds it to be conduct detrimental to the sport it won't matter anyway. Seeing as Parter has also started a fight with players of rival teams before (Browns pregame warmups) and has repeatedly exhibited other bad conduct toward players on other teams during pregame warm ups all captured on camera Goodell may consider him a repeat offender already.

By the way the NFLPA is all for this policy as well as the majority of players. They are more likely to applaud a suspension than appeal it.

It appears Joey himself is worried about a possible repercussion for his part in the fight. Now he wants to apologize to Jones.

"I don't mind calling him. If he truly believes, if he feels like I was wrong, I'm sorry," Porter said. "I can apologize. I am reaching out now."

Funny how all this remorse from Porter comes a day after Henry and Pacman get suspended. Perhaps Porter isn't as sure as some dolphin fans are that he won't be disciplined by the league.
actually, when asked if he thinks he would meet with goddell, porter says "no i dont think we will, i was given a Citation, a ticket."
i dont see how that is a worried statement.

Tank Johnson needs to be suspended for the entire year as well, he had gun charges against him, and he went to jail.

All these people deserve what they get, your not above the law.

Just look at the statement from him. "if he feels like I was wrong" ? WTF? Doesn't sound like Joey gets the point to me. You and 6 buddies jump a guy and he himself doesn't know if he was wrong? He's worried alright and he has good reason to be worried. The statments given by Porter are a joke and the man is only trying to sway commish Goddell from making an example out of him. Do you suppose if Jones had six buddies with him and Porter was alone and the situation was reversed Joey would feel Jones was wrong....you can bet your *** he would. I begining to wonder if the gun shot wound to his *** was really an accidential shooting.
