Phins should pick up Pennington

Right now he is pissed at the Jets, he said they want him to take a paycut that is less than what some backups are making. He has a home in Florida and would play for cheap. Another thing: playing against the Jets twice a year would also be a motivating factor for him to play for the Phins. I know he is injury prone, but the man can still play.

What has he done to prove that?

Sure the man can play if the offensive line is so good that he never gets touched, and the recievers are so open he doesnt have to put any stress on his arm, but lets be realistic here
