Portis' mom reportedly punches out fanRedskins running back Clinton Portis took a beating in a victory over the Eagles on Sunday. But his mother apparently dished one out, according to a report in The Washington Post.
The Post says that in the fourth quarter of the game in Philadelphia, Portis' mom, Rhonnel Hearn, was sitting in the end zone at Lincoln Financial Field with Portis' stepfather and some friends when an Eagles fan tossed a beer on the group. Hearn responded by punching the woman in the face. And that's why Hearn watched part of the game on the Redskins' sideline. "She busted some lady in the nose, but that'll just teach you about messing with her," Portis said. "I think fans take that too serious. People come to the game to have a good time, that's what you should do. If you decide your team is losing and you want to cause trouble, then you're going to get what you're looking for. And (Sunday), whoever that fan was, they got what they were looking for." http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/5216732

That's great. But really, it's a shame to see what people do at games these days. Tossed a beer on the group? They should be ashamed. |

Haha, damn.
You don't want to mess with her, it's okay though... it was an Eagles fan. ![]() |

It’s very interesting, and not surprising, that the reporting involving Portis’ mom (or as I call her "Ghetto Diva") is sooooooo one-sided. True, Philadelphia fans have a bad reputation as being tough on visitors, but it also is no different anywhere you go. For it, it's just another black eye for Philadelphia and that will unfortunately never change. I was at that game and witnessed the incident. Was it reported that her and her posse tried to bring down 3-4 people in a crowded row and hindering people to see the game? That was not reported at all. Of course if you were sitting in the stands and you can’t see the game, I’ll bet that you would be upset about that if anyone tried that in front of you. It also not reported that when during the national anthem, some members of the posse were asked by other fans to remove their hats in respect for the national anthem, and they told those people to “f off.†From my accounts, the person who got hit by his mom was an innocent female fan who had NOTHING to do with the incident. I wouldn’t be surprised if a lawsuit comes out from ugly incident. That aside, throwing beer at another person and causing trouble is wrong as were the Portis posse for their actions. Fortunately for her, if she wasn't the mother of Clinton Portis, she would have been escorted out of the stadium. It just goes to show you those two wrongs does not make a right.

I have it on good authority that it was not a beer that was tossed on C-Po's mama. It was actually Chunky soup lobbed by Mrs. McNabb. Seems after she was done cleaning out Donovan's locker, on her way out of the stadium with a bag full of Chunky Beer Cheddar/Ham soup in microwaveable bowls, she saw C-Po's mama on the Jumbo-Tron in one of those crowd shots, decided she looked hungry, and tried to throw her some soup. Big misunderstanding, and Mrs. McNabb takes a shot to the grill just trying to be all hospitable.
