Potential NFL rule changes

Too bad they couldn'tve eased up on holding and false start rules last season...we would've been undefeated!!

The extending of the playoffs to 14 teams seems interesting, but maybe I'm stupid, but I don't see how the hell that would work

the only way the seven team playoff system could work is if only one team gets a first round bye, that way the 2,3,4,5,6,7 seed would play and that would leave three winners in the first round and adding the first seed would make it four in the second round or the first second and third seed could get a first round bye and the first seed could get a second and third round bye that would work too, but it would be pretty easy for the first seed to win it all at that point because they'd get a month off after the season is over.

Adding playoff teams is a bad idea. The NFL playoff system is just fine the way it is now. Sure, the odd year some team will win there weak division with a 9-7 record and an 11-5 team will miss the wild card...tough break...you should have won 12 games then...
