Pro Bowl voting starts today

Featured on the front page of NFL.com....VOTE NOW!!

Which begs the question....WHY??

Even if you buy the Pro Bowl being worth playing, and you consider being called a Pro Bowler an honor.....why the hell would you open voting after week 6???

Teams have played 1/3 or less of their schedules....but let's let the fans start to decide who the all-stars are for the entire year!!

There are enough problems with legitamacy of the NFL's all-star game, but this only adds to it. Why not begin voting in December, when teams have played more than 1/2 their season? Why announce winners before the end of the league year? Just one more reason why most don't care about the Pro Bowl at all.

But anyway...since it's a popularity contest now, go vote for ALL DOLPHINS!!!!!!

I voted for Ronnie Brown, Joey Porter, Yeremiah Bell, and Greg Camarillo cause he deserves to go in my opinion.

yeah i do not understand why the voting starts so early... not even every team has had their bye yet... so some people might look at stats to decide who to pick and not realize which players have played an extra game to get their stats...

but i agree way too early, and they end it too early... voting should start december 1st and go until after the last game of the reg. season finishes, then announce the pro bowl players during the playoffs...

True I think it does a disservice to vote now. I will vote towards the end as close as possible so I can feel right about my vote.

I agree it is too early to decide who should be going to the ProBowl
