Quarterback from LouisevilleI can only assume this board has a few Hurricane fans. Do any of you remember the Louiseville game from last year? The quarterback was Stefan Lafours (sp?). Does anyone know who drafted him? As I remember, he was a senior. I would have loved to have gotten him. He was a left-hander and gave, what I thought was great defense, fits all day until the Canes came back to win.

as others have said....Carolina's got him. From a couple of articles I've read, he's also seemed to have impressed them quite a bit so far.

So far LeFors is 10/17 for 91 yards, 3 TD's & 1 INT (88.5 rating) in the preseason... That's better than everyone but Brock Berlin... :goof:

LeFors isn't just short, he's got an arm like Drew Brees had before Brees broke down his mechanics and diet and added 20% more velocity on his throws.

When you think of Lefors, think Doug Flutie. Does all the little stuff that you just can't teach. Routes breakdown, the guy can get away and burn you with a strike across his body or just taking it downfield. The guy has a set of wheels.
He wasn't the number one rated QB in college football for nothing. Panthers got a good one in him and the RB Shelton. That guy is going to be a pro bowl back in time. |
