Moss NOT complete wide receiver

Unless M. Cassel perfects the deep ball in a hurry, Moss will prove to be useless to the Pats this season. More than likely, the Pats will need to grind out some games. That means they will need to rely on EVERYONE to block somebody. Moss couldn't execute and maintain a block on a double amputee! On the Pats first drive of the 2008 season, a cornerback (I think it was P. Surtain) blew up his feeble attempt at a block, reached in and stripped the ball from Welker's hand. Besides, how many 2 catches for 22 yds. and 0 td games will it take for the real Randy Moss to rear his ugly head. It is smoke and mirrors--the Pats started 2-0 in each of the last three seasons--with Brady. The end result was the same--choking in the divisional round at Denver, blowing a 21-3 first half lead in the AFC championship game at Indy, and choking in SB 42 vs. the Giants. I don't know about anyone else, but I can clearly see a pattern here! Trust me, I am a native N. Englander and a life-long Viking fan who saw every game Moss ever played in Minny. When things are going peachy, Moss is awesome. When faced with even minimal adversity, he cannot handle it. Think about it--he was blessed to have been a member of the NFL team with the best record twice--once in Minny in 1998--and once in N. Eng. in 2007--and both those teams CHOKED! Sit back, relax and enjoy the fiery implosion. It's coming Randy!

moss is a mongoloid. it wasn't dirty he is just bitter. that response was the beginning of moss slowly combusting b/c he knows they - and more importantly him - are screwed with brady going down and he can't handle it.

vikeman - 100% correct. but don't make derogatory amputee jokes. you'd be surprised.

Bob Dole-You are right. I apologize for the amputee remark-I'm a little green to this and have learned my lesson!

no worries. i was probably being a hypocrite anyways.

you're right about moss. if the patsies maintain and cassel plays well there might not be an issue. but if they struggle and he isn't getting the touches that he is entitled to there will be some fantastic controversy up in new england. i really hope the fins can be a catalyst in helping him implode.

Bob Dole, the hair is a riot! Don't forget, the "Big Tuna" taught Belichick everything he knows. That is why I get pissed when N. Englanders dog him. ALL of their success can be atributted to him, even if it is in a roundabout way. Take Moss out of the game and put some relentless pressure on Cassel and you guys have a shot. I spent 1989-1990 living in Eustis, Fla. Used to deliver plants to White Rose Nursery (no longer there) on rte. 434.
