ravens-bengals game to air on directvDoesn't it make you guys upset that the 2 or 3 times the dolphins games have been rescheduled, it was only available in local markets and now the bengals -ravens game will be shown throughout the country? As a die hard fan, who pays for the sunday ticket, it bothers me. I hope that this will be the case in the future if/when the dolphins game is rescheduled.

Do you mean Texans - Ravens game? that has been actually re-scheduled due to Hurricane Ike, but they won't actually be playing.

Two prime examples was the 2004 home opener against the Titans and the 2005 game against the Chiefs. The Titans game was moved to Saturday and the Chiefs game was moved to Friday. At those times Direct TV said the package was called "SUNDAY NFL Ticket" Therefore since the game was no longer on Sunday, Direct TV members did not get those games live. I have had Direct TV and the Ticket since the 03' and remember having to watch the stat tracker on NFL.com for the Chiefs game(I was actually at the Titans game so that didn't affect me). They said that Friday was for High School football and Saturday was for College football, so they couldn't broadcast the games across the country. That is why I was so worried they would move last week's game due to Ike. I figured if they moved it to Saturday like before, I wouldn't be able to watch. Sure they do show the game on the Ticket at its original set time, but by then you already know the score and are forced to watch a day or two tape delay. |

Exactly. The NFL thinks the game will be played on Monday night but as soon as the sun rises tomorrow morning, they'll see that there is NO FREAKIN' WAY that they'll be able to get the Ravens in or Texans out on Sunday. Houston is prone to severe flooding and on the nightmare scenario scale of 1-10, this is shaping up as a 9.95.
