Refs are now TV stars.

Just watched the Green Bay - Minnesota game, and I really wasn't pulling for either team as the Fins are the only team that matters. But I'm wondering if anyone else noticed the constant, petty flag throwing by the refs. It has gotten rediculous over the past few years. I used to notice the flags on every play back when Tom White's crew worked a game, and he just disappeared after 2006. I don't know if he retired or got fired or what. Now, Jeff Triplette's crew is almost as bad, going back to last year. I realize there are penalties to call, but the game becomes hard to watch when every stop on third down becomes an automatic 1st down. Am I the only one who noticed this?

the worst penalty in football is the free 50 yards on pass interference... pass interference should be no more than 15 or 20 yards... and they should NEVER get the ball on the 1 yardline... never...
