As a coach, Haslett sucks.

I think its unfortunate hes gone, the question I wonder is with all these Head coaches fired in the last 2 days will they just switch teams or do we have that many people ready to make the jump to head coach?

Honestly, as cheap as Benson is, I'm surprised he'd eat the remaining salary.

I think they have signifigantly more tallent then the Bills. They have had a very talented roster for the last several years and have been horrible.

Schleprock has a little shameless behaviour in the past
It doesn't say anywhere Benson is even eating the salary. Haslett supposedly wanted out of his contract for a while now, and it says him and Benson reached a "mutual agreement" for his departure.

IMO, Haslett is about as adept as Wanny at coaching. I don't find this a shame or unsatisfactory toward Haslet. i also don't blame the damn hurricane. Haslett should have been fired 2 years ago. IMO hurricane Katrina helped Haslett by giving him an excuse for his final axing.

Well, that clears that up. Benson had quipped last year when asked about Haslett's status, that "it'd cost too much to fire him" [paraphrased].

I know for a fact Saban will be watching to see who drops off of that roster. They do have some talented players, especially on the DL...

To tell you the truth, this kind of suprised me when I first saw this. I figured that they would give him atleast one more year left, but I guess they got tried of him now. I sure do hope that he will be the Bills next HC.
