Second Year Player Weddle To Start At FS.

Eric Weddle will be the Chargers' starting free safety this season.
Weddle had 54 tackles, one INT, and six breakups as a rookie. The Bolts' front seven will be healthy and figures to improve in DC Ted Cottrell's second year, so there may not be tons of tackle opps coming Weddle's way in center field.

Eric Weddle is a tornado on the field. He's always around the ball and he packs a serious punch, hes a turnover waiting to happen.

yeah this guy is really good hes one for the future deffinantly for the chargers!

Same here. Weddle has "superstar" written all over him. His aggressive style of play is perfect for the Chargers defense. Just another great draft pick by AJ Smith.
