So much for Ahmad Brooks he signed with 49ersHe was the nations biggest LB recruit and has a crap load of potential.Next to Pat Willis the 49ers D gets better. I thought he could have made the team and started here. he had over 200 tackles and 6 sacks his sophomore year in college. Oh well there he goes along with Ricky Manning Je. I guess if we let Willie Anderson and Deltha Oneal slip away to we didnt take advantage of the waiver wire.

Manning Jr, Anderson and O'Neal are all vested veterans and don't go through the waiver process. When they are cut, they can sign with any team.

Brooks was a great player on the field in college but was terrible off the field. He was dismissed from the football team on numerous occasions so he comes with some baggage. He may have been misused in Cincinnati but having played both ILB and OLB in college he should have been able to display more of that playmaking ability than he did (reminds me of Channing Crowder before this preseason). Ahmad will go to SF and backup Willis and hopefully be able to fulfill his potential or fade into obscurity.

If they light goes on the 49ers will have the scariest mlb due in the league for the next decade. Too bad all they have is Gore on offense.

A good buddy of mine played high school ball with Ahmad. He has told me many times that Ahmad, although a stud athletically, really has no work ethic. He could get away with it in high school and some in college. Not in the NFL.

I'm wondering here, but what are your credentials to say any NFL team has or has not done its job? I ask because if FinHeaven.com has a valid and verified NFL personnel expert on hand, then can advertise the heck out of that. But if you're just an average joe like the rest of us, then your statement holds little..if any...weight and your statement is mere opinion. So then we should read it as "I think we didn't take advantage..." However, just because they didn't do something I think they should of done doesn't mean they've failed. I accept the fact that I'm not all knowing of football or its players. I watch, I enjoy. They Dolphins aren't SB ready yet. But I have faith in the staff as is. And if they don't want someone, then its for a reason.
