Over 20 years with a Bush or Clinton running the country.

Two-Thirds of Obama Transition Working Groups Have Clinton Ties

Quote:
As the Obama transition team reviews the federal government’s network of agencies, President Bill Clinton’s appointees and staffers are playing a major role.

Just how big? At least 85 of the 135-odd members of President-elect Barack Obama’s agency review teams served in the Clinton administration, a Washington Wire count shows.

That’s nearly two-thirds of the members of the working groups reviewing agency issues, and the Clinton resurrection has not gone unnoticed. “Here’s how you can tell the campaign is over and done with,” wrote Ben Smith and Carrie Budoff Brown in Politico. “Clintonites are everywhere.”

Some members of Obama’s transition teams are reviewing the same agencies they worked for in the ’90s: Pamela Gilbert, the former executive director of the Consumer Product Safety Commission, is reviewing the CPSC; Phyllis Segal, the former director of the Federal Labor Relations Authority, is vetting the FLRA; and Michael Camunez, Clinton’s senior policy adviser for national service is reviewing—you guessed it—national service.

If you count the 8 years Bush was VP for Reagan. It's even more. We keep putting in the same people and expect a different result. So much for change. Obama is a tool just like the rest.

The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions that I wish it to be always kept alive.

When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. When the government fears the people, there is liberty.

That government is best, which governs least.

Benjamin Franklin
Those that are willing to give up liberty for safety deserve neither

It's the policies, not the ppl... just like if you change to a different talking point, based on me telling you too...even thought it's still you, you're now working on my point of view, which mades your post different.. again, it's not the ppl, but the way the business is done...i.e., what policies are being enacted..
