Winning will also bring in better recruits..I love this... Canes are ranked again and the Dolphins are progressing...GO DOLPHINS and CANES!

I think it's going to be a tough one, and IMO, the biggest on in Shannon's short tenure as HC so far.

I can see us winning it.

If we make it to the ACC Title, I'll be headed to Tampa.

You bet my *** I'm up there too! I know some guy who knows a conditioning coach on the team and he was telling me that Randy Shannon was telling him and I quote "No one is f*****g up my National Championship in two years" Don't know how true the source is but he was saying he sounds really determined for this..I'm praying for that and it would make me happy to see UM an elite program again..I still think Nix should be gone..Thoughts?

PS.. Seems on here that you and I are the only ones who care about the UM program? I mean, im not on here much but i see your post and see you have lots of heart for them..

Haha....I like the talent that he's brought in so far...while I have been critical of the season at times, I like the direction we're headed in right now. The real holes that I see are mainly on teh O-line and Secondary. We're absolutely loaded at the QB, RB, WR, DL, and LB positions....we just need help in the secondary.

I really don't like Nix, though there are people that approve of the job he's doing. To me, the RZ playcalling on Thursday was terrible...but that's JMO. Get an OC hire that's the caliber of Bill Young, and we'll be set for next season. If we win out, I can see us being ranked at least top 15 next season, maybe top 10. Nix should be gone as soon as the bowl game is over.

Haha...there are others on here that are Canes fans, it just hasn't really been active since Thursday night.

The thing about Shannon is...as long as he can keep bringing in the talent he's brought in, we're going to be set no matter who's the coach. And it's not like he's going to leave UM for another job either....

I see the future being very bright for us.

I see it bright too, it's been painful these past couple of years with both the Cane/Fins in a hole...I can't breath or relax until after games...I have so much passion for this sport and these teams that it even drives my wife crazy sometimes too lol

It's been bad the last few years, that's for sure. I'm amazed at the turnaround both teams have made this year.

If you had told me before the year that the Hurricanes would have been leading the Coastal with 2 games to go, and the Dolphins would be in great position to get a playoff spot...I'd have laughed.

The Heat (aside from their road woes) haven't been too bad either.

The Miami teams are finally coming back...and I love it.

The last Miami game I attended...was in the Superdome in New Orleans in 1992 against Alabama...

I was born and raised on Alabama football....it's always been a way of life...the Canes have been my 2nd favorite college team since the Jimmy Johnson days...no way I was missing that game...

A close friend of mine is a die hard, eat, breathe, sleep, ****...Alabama Crimson Tide fan....but also a Titans fan going back to their days as Oilers in Houston...

They're a combined 21-0 this season.....I need to start living like this guy....

In the next couple of years, it will be great to see the Canes return to the NC picture, the Dolphins make a run in the playoffs, and Urban Meyer "Weiner" crash & burn like his counterpart, the classless, Bill Belichick.

Ahhh, feels good. We haven't done nothing yet . . . Ga Tech wil be a tuff road game . . . we gotta play our best game of the year . . . and this is by FARRR RAndy's biggest game as Miami headcoach. If the Canes lose this game . . . fans will eat him alive Friday morning on the radio stations. Win or lose (please win) I still think Randy has the program in the right direction . . . but this game is big.

Nesbitt may be out on Thursday, so that's definitely an advantage for us.
