some of you know leftcoastphin. when my wife told me, it blew me away. yesterday between 1-4, the guy shot himself. we knew he was depressed about whether to keep the job at the college here, or move back to nebraska. i was shocked, we just watched the dolphins third preseason game together and we had dinner!

he wrote an article for finheaven once, and had doings with aj as far as donations!, this is unreal. i treated the guy almost like a son, my wife got him a job at the local college when he moved here from nebraska. he was a finfan through and through. the only way he would go camping with us one weekend is because we had satellite and he could watch the draft!

i just didn't know he was this depressed. i even thought about going over yesterday and taking him down to the sports bar but i thought he was house sitting in orange county.

my wife said he took a vacation day friday and didn't come to work!

What the hell???? No I cannot believe it either.

Ah the memories of him battling it out with the others. Seemed like a good guy to me. My condolensces to his family and since you were the closest to him, to you Dolfan.

I hadn't seen him around much lately... he used to be on very often. What a tragedy.. my warmest sympathies and prayers go out to his family... and you and your wife Larry... I know you were close.

thank you very much, i think one of the biggest things is just knowing that he was remembered.
