Mod note: This thread shows that despite the rivalry that exists between Miami and Buffalo, it's completely irrelevant when it comes to being human beings and caring about one another. Jim Kelly was a model player and most of all, a model person, and the miami dolphins fans on this board realized this and reached out to lend support to the kelly family in this thread. This is why we feel that it was Flippers Finest material...

oh this sucks...i read somewhere that Jim Kelly was invited to Dan Marino's private after party this weekend...Dan and Jim are good friends...Dan has always stated how much he considers Jim a good friend...wow this really sucks!!!

wow, our prayers goout to the kelly family. damn the curveballs that life throws u, iknow i would go insane if my son past away. this should show us that we should enjoy our lives as much as we can everyday couse u never know...

My condolences, the worst of things happen to the best of people. Best wishes to Jim, and the Kelly family. It is the worst of tragedies when a child passes away.

I met Jim many, many years ago when he was just establishing himself at the Univ. of Miami. I've always had a soft spot for him. My prayers and condolences go out to him.
