Yes there is a God and the good guys have won! May this be the beginning of the end to the Evil Empire. To me if there is any dynasty that defines Evil Empire it is the Patriots of the modern era followed by the Raidahs of 70s & 80s, Niners of 80s & 90s, and Cowboys (dishonorable mention Bills of early 90s except they didn't win a darn ringLOL!!).

Ha! That was what back in '82. They could not stop us going to the SB that year but they could clear a space for the kicker! Yeah I guess the cheating, squeeling, and the classlessness started a while back did it not?

I don't think I ever cheered more for a team in a non-Fins game than last night. And never have a wished for another team to lose so badly! NO team is destined to replace the 72 Fins for only perfect team. The football Gods are watching over that record making sure the universe is in order. Now. let this be the beginning of the end for the Evil Empire!

Ditto to all you guys!!!

THANK GOD the Giants did it!!!

I was in 5 different football pools and won nothing but who cares !!!!!!!!

I haven't been this excited/happy after a game in a long time.

Hopefully, the Patridiot's will get more taken away from them with the ongoing allegations about them spying.

Great article in the Newrak Star-Ledger (NJ) :

http://www.nj.com/sports/ledger/inde...900.xml&coll=1

Well.....I'm off to watch again the '72 Dolphins Super Bowl I DVR'ed that NFL network had on the other night...if you didn't see it try to catch it....it's the actual full broadcast of the game not a NFL films thing.

People kept asking me why I was wearing a Fins jersey last night. I kept telling them about the 72 Fins. When the Giants won, my buddies hoisted me in the air and started screaming "72! 72!" It was probably one of the most exciting games I've seen in a while. Thank you, Giants! Perfectville is still perfectville, at least for one more year.

Well lest we forget that New England has a proud tradition of being dirty "rat finks"...

Bellicheck?

Anyone know why Bellicheck didn't come back out for the final play of the game? Was he too embarrassed? Pissed? Or did I just miss him coming back out? If he didn't it shows just what a sore loser he really is. I'm sure someone told him that there was still a second left on the clock. Did he shake Coughlin's hand?

Super Bowl XLII - 1972 Dolphins Parties?

Did any of y'all have a 1972 Dolphins Super Bowl party last night? We had a small one, nothing big. Also how many of y'all went out and wore your Fins stuff yesterday before or during the game?

I went around town and made a point to harass Patriots fans when I could.

He shook his hand really quick, literally pushed the ref out of his way, and stormed off the field.

He was like a big baby that did not get his way.

What a great day. The Dolphins are still the only perfect team in history. NE deserved to lose, they have been running up the score on teams all season, i'm glad they lost.

Bout time they had some bad luck go their way.

oh bull. Brady looked fine last night. He wasn't stepping on his foot gingerly at all last night. That entire foot thing was more brady drama.

In the 26 years I've been a Fin fan, I have never ever wore another team's colors. Well, my brother is a giants fan and I asked him to bring an extra jersey. I thought long and hard of this decision. But ultimately, concluded there were bigger stakes at play then my own pride. There was a bigger cause, and it was still a Dolphins cause. I put it on. One friend at my SB party (Bills fan) kept razzing me the whole time -- "That's I'd regret it in the morning." Like a Buddhist monk, I tuned him out. The truth is, I don't regret it. I feel like I was part of something bigger than just football. It was about history, class, and as the above poster so perfectly put it: JUSTICE. Sweet justice.
