What kind of jobs do we have as Dolfans? What made us get into loving this team? - Page 3

I'm insane actually.

Seriously, I am a Clinical Psychologist, but I became very tired of the merry-go-round (psychotropic drugs and clients who never got better), so I specialize in Wellness Care. I'm more interested in prevention and natural healing therapies, which doesn't go to well with the state licensing folks, so I do my own thing. In other words, I don't do insurance billing anymore.

I'm an advertising communications consultant (fancy talk for writer) for an insurance company in Illinois. I spent the years between age four and 12 in Homestead before moving west because of my dad's job. That explains why I'm a rabid Dolphin fan (I started watching in Bob Griese's twilight years and caught the fever hardcore during the days of Woodstrock) but couldn't give a rat's arse about the Heat, Marlins or Panthers.

I'm a first year law student (for 3 more days) who will be interning with a local district attorney this summer. Prior to last fall, I worked in the software industry and the insurance industry.

I grew up in the mountains of WV, AL, and VA -- there weren't really any teams close to me most of my youth. I chose the Dolphins because I had two uncles who liked them, a teacher who liked them, and because I really liked the color aqua. I'm just glad I wasn't big on other colors back in those days.

No way, so am I (well, technically third semester). I'll be in NYC working for a firm this summer.

I'm A Senior Accountant For A Local Goverment Office In Jersey. Got Into The Fins When I First Saw Czonka Run Over People. It Was Awesome. Since That Day I Have Been A Fin Fan Forever.

I grew up in South Florida and my father and I had season tickets for many years. So, the Dolphins have been in my blood for a long time. Anyone that tries to tell me that Dan Marino wasn't the best QB in football history is wasting their breath.

I was born in the Cape and moved to Ft. Lauderdale at age 10 and moved back to Rockledge which is were I am right now at age 16 and I just grew up loving the Dolphins

Amazingly I'm not a stripper, although I do work in Agua's fancy dress shop.

As well as that I work as a radio producer for the BBC in London, producing a music, comedy and entertainment show called Loose Ends.

I got into the Dolphins in 1984 after being at a friends birthday and seeing them on TV and getting into it from there.

I graduated from the "State University of New York at Buffalo Law School", which we shorten to "Buffalo Law" for obvious reasons, in 2002...and yet the NY bar seems like a distant memory, let alone finals!

I'm a High School Teacher / Football Coach Full time (20 years), and part time JC instructor (Usually PE). I'm currently the Varsity Offensive Coordinator at a Div. 1 School in So Cal.
I became a DOLFAN while watching the Cowboys-Dolphins Super Bowl as a kid. I loved the Dolphins from that point on and they are my only team in the only sport!
I currently have 4-5 or so players in the NFL that I've coached at one point or another -
Hakim Akbar - Rams
Sean Brewer - Cincy
Sammy Knight - Fins
Kyle Turley - Rams
Kendall Edwards - Somewhere soon

Boomer, I am a hard core fan of a British comedy called "Coupling." It used to air on a local PBS station, but was removed a few months ago. Do you know the show?

No one in Florida, that I know anyway, has ever heard of the show. God, I wish I could get tapes of that program. Any ideas?
