Results of my first Dolphins Madden '05 game

.............I used to be such a videogame nutt and now slowly trying to get back into it. At any rate, I decided to start a season and in Week 1 my Fins pounded the Titans 56-17. The game started out tight in the begining, both teams trading scores, and a 17-14 halftime score. But even in the rain, the Fins O eventually broke out. The Titans simple just could not cover Donald Lee and McMichael in the short, intermediate passing game. Eventually the coverage got so bad that both were able to slip defenders and tack on big time YAC. The defense is simply sick in this game, especially the secondary and Larry Chester. I can tell that if a team doesn't have a star reciever, they don't have a chance throwing. Chambers had a monster game too. The Titans were getting burned by the TE's, which lead to Chambers 1-on-1 .........Chambers finished with over 200 yards receving, Donald Lee had 79 and 2 TDs and McMichael had 82 and 1 TD. Feeley, who started out rusty with 2 picks, ended up with 414 yards, 5 TD's and a 107 rating.

Hahaha.........I don't know, just thought I'd share because I've seen others posting their's on here. I hope we used our TE's the way I did in this upcoming season.

maybe you should try playing the game on a more advanced level. maybe not in rookie mode. lol. Or maybe you should make the comp and the 1st player attributes the same. Those are unreal numbers if your not playing an even game.

Personally i dont do that until after i have mastered the game and play fair seasons. Then after you have fun with it. its not cool to just cheat off the bat. lol

its weird i heard madden this year was harder...

It's on starter..........and the game was even, he actually picked me off twice in the first half, but I zero'd in on his weakness and picked at it all second half........

I am finishing a season on ALL-PRO and the Fins are currently 12-2...Minus Ricky and Boston....Plus Freeman...

The game is smarter but not harder than last year....

As far as ESPN goes it is much harder than last year IMO. You can no longer just drop back and chunk it because the safetys will eat you up. I will tell you this I have started several franchises only to quit them because their is roster moves injurys etc. So I have played the titans several times and I kill them everytime without Boston and Ricky. But anyway the colts beat the patriots everytime when I SIM the rest of the week.

all pro is a joke... I always play one game of Madden on it hoping it will be difficult enough to keep playing while still having the chance to occassionally outrun the computer unlike all madden where the players "play better than their ratings" and are faster than even the fastest of your guys. Unfortunately, as usual, all pro sucks, and it's back to all madden after just one game, which is fine the game is still ridiculous.

I'm currently on the AFC championship game with the Dolphins. Minor was the league MVP and also go the rushing title. Feeley didn't do bad, but didnt do good either, good enough I suppose though to get me to where I am at. Passing on espn is pretty challenging too.
