Admit it Dolphin Fans, AJ is improvingOk, I have not seen the Dolphins in the past two games against the Seahawks and 49ers (my favorite team since 8). I have had the opportunity for the first time to actually listen to the games, of course with opposing teams announcers....smile. What I have learned is that announcers at both games in Seattle and San Francisco is what I have always thought all along...they all agree, AJ Feeley is a heck of a quarterback.
The 49er announcers were shocked that he kept playing the rest of the game? They knew he had a screwed up finger and was hurting from the week before against the Seahawks. Come on Dolphin fans....you have to admit, Feeley loves to win and will play even with a fractured leg to get a Dolphin win. Ok, I admit, AJ has not come out publicly to support me on this deal??? LOL Hey, the kid can play and Dolphin management....don't waste a high draft pick on a QB??? You think AJ's learning curve is bad now? Bring in a rookie? Are the Dolphins willing to wait another 4 years to break in yet another unknown qb? AJ is your future and is gaining experience every game he has been starting. Be smart Dolphin management and players....you don't need another qb...you need a line and playmakers.? Enough said...any comments? My prediction? Dolphins stun the hot Bills 34-31. Yes, It will be close but Miami has the better attitude about winning right now. GO Dolphins!

i really hope that you are right. honestly, i´m not convinced that Feeley is the future yet. but he has shown some progression. i hope we can see the best of Feeley in the next game. don´t forget that he won last sunday against the worst team in the league.

I'll admit that the fumble officially goes to Feeley on the play, but if you watch the play it was Minor's fault, not AJ's.
I'm not a supporter, nor a detractor at this point I'll see how it all plays out and then make a judgement based on all factors involved. Including what offense our new coach wants to run, who is available in the draft and how they perform in combines, all-star games etc. and the progression that AJ actually makes while on the field. What would be progression? Watching to see if he learns to read a defense better, makes some better choices with the ball while rushed, and if he can learn to get the ball out quicker so he doesn't die. He has to be smart enough to learn that or he'll never be smart enough to run a new offense because our O-line is so bad right now I've never seen one worse. |

We really have no choice but to give Feeley a chance. We have too much money invested in him. We have to keep him next year as least as a backup to avoid a huge cap hit.
Let's not make the same mistake we did with Brian Griese and give up too soon on him. As far as the draft goes, pick the best available player regardless of position. We could use an upgrade at every position except maybe cornerback. |

Yep there ya go, from a fan who would rather be right and is so happy to have something to put on AJ, even tho at a minimum, you cant place the whole blame on AJ, which he really deserves none of the blame. It was to Minors belly and he never got his hands on it. Because Feeley was teh last with possession, he gets the blame. That is a stat, but not fault. Minor should have had it. But hey you AJ haters have to have something to say "See i was right" right? |

Did you see that play? I know I saw it and apparently Jim Bates saw it too because he laid the blame directly at Minor.

Feeley haters need to take a breath, and give it a rest.
Instant gratification isn't going to happen w/ a QB project. Give him some time already. |

Let' Get This Sraight Once And For All:mad:
Everbody is talking all this crap about AJ Feeley. Let's look at the other factors here. 1) We have no offensive line. 2) We have no running game. 3) We have no structure on offense period. Give Aj a little protection and maybe a back that can get more than 1 or 2 yards per cary and then see what he can do..... |

Feeley came in, pretty much with rookie experience, and has shown that he has talent. Developing into a dependable starting QB who can win you games, which is something we haven't had since Dan, takes time. It is very rare that a young QB, regardless of talent, comes in and lights it up. Let's not forget that we have a horrible offensive line. Big Ben has been an exception but he has a great line and a running game.
So let's give the kid a chance. He has shown he has talent, toughness and to some point leadership. Those are things you can't teach. The system, the development, that only comes with experience and time. Next year, after several starts under his belt, more reps in training camp as the starting QB, and an improved offensive line, he will be a much better QB. |

the questions and concerns are not whether AJ is improving, but whether he is a franchise QB. Heck I would improve too after lots of practise and a few games, but does that make me suitable for the job?
Feeley is improving there is no doubt about that. But does he possess enough skill to be the Franchise QB? In my mind he only has this season to prove it.
