It also looks like you gave up a lot of money for that TE and bills fans are not happy about it

I'm not sure why the bills administration is in love with Royal.
I know very little about him, so I'm not going to ***** or cheer. Marv obviously knows more about football than I do, so I'm sure it's all for the greater good. |

Marv says he is an outstanding blocker who wasnt utilized in the passing game, but he feels he has the potential to be a huge weapon. He liked him a lot. He saw something in him. Almost every Bills fan had no idea who this guy was, so the contract was a shocker. Im sure most thought he was a backup TE to Cooley, but actually he was the starter and Cooley was an H-Back/Fullback. |

TE Robert Royal
"He fits the style of attack that we envision," said Levy. "One of the areas where we felt that we had to perform better was along the offensive line. I don't know if there is a better blocking tight end than Robert Royal. We feel we've upgraded not just the tight end position but we feel we have helped our offensive line a lot. This is as good as a blocking tight end that I've seen." As you fin fans have pointed Marv has been around for a while and for him to say "This is as good as a blocking tight end that I've seen" is a heck of a compliment.

Good signing with Triplett.

# Signatures and Avatars Added: February 1, 2004 - Avatars and signatures should not have any type of nudity or be too risqué, nor are they to contain violence. Basically, nothing sexually explicit or violent. However we also ask that you refrain from using bathing suit-type photos altogether for the purpose of promoting on-topic conversation. We believe this is fair as avatars and signatures are in every forum. In some forums these pictures may or may not be allowed. Thus, there should be no pictures, as stated above, in one's avatar or signature. However, images such as stated in the above may be posted in The Ladies Lounge. Added: January 15, 2005 - You are permitted one photo per signature. Please keep the dimensions within the 400x300 pixel range and below 40k in size. Exceptions can be made if a signature is wider than 400 pixels, but much shorter than 300 pixels in height (a banner for example). Not only does this make for a sleeker, less congested forum, but it also helps visitors who are limited to 56K dialup connections. Added: January 23, 2006 – The use of quotes from other members in your signature in a derogatory or inflammatory manner is not allowed. This creates bad feelings among fellow members, and is considered a personal attack. Added:14 February 2006 - Politically oriented Sig and Avatars are not permitted. This tends to distract from discussions, much as a sexually explicit one would. A Guide To Forum Posts: http://gprime.net/flash.php/postingandyou |

Triplett was a smart signing, I must admit. He should really make their defense more formidable but I wouldnt go writing home about Royal and Davis. Not that they're bad, but theyre not gamebreakers either.

Tripplet is good, kudos on that pick up, but Royal? I never heard of him. Davis is a good 3rd or 4th WR.

Royal is a blocking TE, Davis is a depth receiver if we keep Moulds and an experienced starter if we cut Moulds.
