How bad is the Phins QB situation, at this point??I guess all that talk we were hearing about how well John Beck has looked and how steady Josh McCown has been and how Chad Henne was a steal was all a bunch of PR.
Seriously, how bad does your situation have to be when you have a vet, a 2nd year 2nd round pick, and another rookie 2nd round pick, yet you still have to do THIS: Quote:
nadir - na·dir (noun): the lowest point; point of greatest adversity or despair. And theres still a guy here who insists the Bills are the worst team in this division. Unbelievable.

lol Henne is the rookie version of Grossman.
Anyways, it's not only the quarterback's, it's our receivers too. They are not creating seperation. I really hope John Beck can pull through, I think he has loads of potential and if we give up on him so quickly, he may succeed at another team and it will bite us in the ***. With that said, it is a whole new offense he's learning again; after spending months learning the previous playbook last year like the back of his hand. Our quarterback situation for this year does not look good at all unless Beck can step it up. I doubt Henne gets any snaps this year. We all know what McCown is, hell his career says it all. He's garbage. Beck right now needs a slap in the face like Ronnie got last season before he exploded. The potential is there.

Yeah our QB situation is bad...really bad. But if you examine the other teams in our division they aren't great by any stretch either. Buffalo has Trent Edwards who's an up and coming QB and J.P. Losman who's probably going to be a career backup, didn't the Bills trade up for this guy? Neither are proven. The Jets have Kellen Clemmens and Chad Pennington who if you could put them together would probably be a pretty good QB. Chad has no arm left and Clemmens is unproven as well. Any other team other than the Jets wouldn't put any stock into those QBs taking them anywhere this season. New England has Tom Brady who is well...Tom Brady. As long as he's on the field they are going to be fine. He gets hurt though and they are just as vulnerable as any other team in the leauge. The Dolphins situation is by far the worst of the division but all the other teams don't have ideal situations either other than the Pats.

I would agree if Miami was ready to make a run but they can definitely live w/ a McCown for this year and hopefully for them(not for the rest opf the division) one of their 2 young guys develops and becomes a solid QB.

Miami is worst, then KC and then Chi-town.
The reason you have to give worst to Miami is... well they just aren't good, at all. Then the recievers they have to throw to aren't very good either, not yet anyway. Then the O-Line hasn't had enough time to come together as a unit. If some passer doesn't up his game the offense will go 3 and out allot and not give the O-Line any live game experience. That's gonna get whatever QB is starting hurt. I'ld almost be willing to bet that Miami will be forced to start all three of their QBs this season because of injury or desperation. |

I think Beck looked good at times. Basically, he looked like a rookie last year. Drafting Henne was ridiculous, and i'm sure bad for Beck's psyche.

Base on what? Grossman is a POS QB, Henne is a rookie who is just getting his feet wet. what makes you think Beck has greatness and potential but Henne sucks?

lol, well at least Ricky can read...and I'm not talking about reading defenses(although, Carter can't do that either).
