I see nothing wrong with any fans being optimistic about their teams chances in May. Everyone exaggerates big time when it comes to football. In reality the good teams aren't that much better than the bad ones.

10-6 and challenge the Pats for the division. The doom and gloomers be damned! Even as an underachieving team under Herm people thought we would do well. Injuries derailed us completely. Everyone is healthy, we've added more talent than we lost. We have a revamped OL to protect Penny/Ramsey/Clemmens and allow our RB's to get past the LOS.

Pancake schedule, good D, great o-line, great running game, good recieving, great special teams, and anywhere from average to great QB.
13-3 in 06, 11-5 at the worst, playoffs.

I think 8-8 is possible though.

8-8. I have enough faith in Mangini that he'll get a good unit on the field for us to capture some late season wins and begin turning this ship around!!

easy schedule, so im going to say 9-7, which is much better then i thought it would be the day after the season was over, i thought 3-13 for sure but with the moves the jets have made they will be solid

This Jet team will be better than most people think they will be. It is not unrealistic that we can be 10-6. That would make Mangini an instant icon in New York. A healthy Chad and Curtis will go a long way to get to 10-6.

At best? Man you really think we suck, don't you? I'm saying 8-8. But if everyone brings their 'A' game this year I think it's possible to go for a 9-7 record.

Once again the jets will finish 9 - 7.....as far as I'm concerned I just hope we beat the Dolphins (both games)
