I see them signing Quincy Carter or Vinny Testarvarde and have one of them end up starting in a few weeks and for what would be the rest of the season.

I thought Berlin handled the pre-season pretty welll, although be that he was playing 3rd and 4th stringers, but I hope it doesn;t come back to bite us in the a$$

They wouldnt start Berlin over Bollinger. Berlin has no familiarity with the system, very little NFL experience, and the Jets are getting Testaverde. If they were to pick him up it'd be as an insurance policy.
