Where's Revis?

First-round picks continue to sign all over the league, yet the Jets' first pick Darrelle Revis continues to hold out.

This is very odd, we hadn't had a holdout since 1997 and that was only a day i think.

The Kendall situation has something to do with this. I think the agent is putting a bug into his ear becase of what the Jet's ar doing to Kendall.

Its all about 6 years instead of 5 that the Jets want. They are getting real stupid at that front office. Seems Mangini's spot on The Soprano's has his head turning a little to big for his britches.

It has nothing to do w/ Revis and kendall sharing the same agent. if it does that agent should be banished.

I heard that it could go as far as him sitting out the season and re entering the draft next season, his uncle or someone in his family has done it in the past too, so it may not be too far fetched.

I think it would be a bad move on his part, but I respect him for sticking to his guns. I hope he gets his 5 year deal.

The Fins crammed a 6 year deal down J. Allens
throat last year and it screwed up his rookie year...Im not a fan of strong arming over petty crap.

if it's all about 1 year, both sides should feel rediculous. I don't hate the Jets as much as our other rivals (though I do get tired of the Mangini hype, they won games, but it wasn't great coaching IMO. They were just a good team last year), so I do feel sorry for them.

At the same time, what's the biggest difference between a 5 year deal and a 6 year deal? What if he sucks? do you want him for 6 years then?
